The highly anticipated 2026 Construction Machinery Industry Technology Festival (hereinafter referred to as the “Technology Festival”), organized by the China Construction Machinery Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Association’) and the Zhejiang University Institute of Advanced Equipment (hereinafter referred to as the “Institute”), is set to take place on June 13–14 in Linping, Hangzhou, with just 10 days remaining until the event.
With the theme “Construction Machinery + Smart Manufacturing, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and New Energy,” this year’s Technology Festival will serve as a high-level platform for collaborative innovation, technology transfer, and academic exchange among government, industry, academia, research institutions, and end-users in the construction machinery sector.
As a central component of this year’s Science and Technology Festival, the organizers will outline a clear path for high-quality industrial development through high-level events, including plenary sessions and specialized forums.
The keynote session on June 13 will feature two academicians from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, along with leading experts from across the industry chain. They will discuss the intelligent, green, and integrated development of construction machinery, as well as cutting-edge fields such as the application of artificial intelligence and new energy technologies, robotics, embodied intelligence, industrial simulation, and digital and intelligent transformation. They will also share insights on technological applications and innovative practices, and engage in in-depth discussions on new trends, pathways, technologies, and applications in the construction machinery industry.
On the afternoon of June 13 and the morning of June 14, the organizers will also hold two concurrent special sessions on the themes of “Intelligent, Green, and Integrated Development of Construction Machinery” and “Smart Manufacturing and Innovative Applications of AI.
The special report titled “Intelligent, Green, and Integrated Development of Construction Machinery” will closely align with the national “dual carbon” strategy and the requirements of new industrialization. It will focus on areas such as standards development, testing support, autonomous driving, digital and intelligent green operations and maintenance, and the integration of green and intelligent technologies. The report aims to refine low-carbon and intelligent solutions for the entire lifecycle of construction machinery and jointly promote high-quality development in the industry.
